Meet the Owner, Tom DePietro

Tom DePietro, owner of DePietro’s Pharmacy, learned from a young age the value of helping others enjoy a better quality of life. Tom’s mother and father worked in healthcare, and he discovered that he wanted to emulate the dedication they showed for the people in their care. He recalls, “What really resonated with me was their passion for helping people and being able to make an impact on their patients.” He adds, “Their hours were long and the days were stressful, but what they focused on was how they were able to help someone—and that always stuck with me.”

After attending Dunmore High School, Tom earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree at Temple University School of Pharmacy. Following graduation, he founded his pharmacy in March 2012 on the principles he learned from his parents’ example—that attentive, personalized service is essential to customer wellness. Tom’s approach applies not only to his customers, but to his community as well. He’s dedicated to giving back to the community which has chosen DePietro’s as its preferred pharmacy.
